In der Serie „Liquid Silver“ lotet Albrecht Noack die Freiheit der künstlerischen Fotografie aus. Er verflüssigt Motive, bis sich die Konturen auflösen. Bei seinen fotografischen Experimenten entstehen Bildfehler, die er gleichberechtigt über- und neben dem Motiv gelten lässt. Oft bedarf es der geduldigen Betrachtung, damit signifikante Bildteile aus dem vermeintlich abstrakten Chaos heraustreten können.
Mit der Geduld tritt eine Langsamkeit zwischen Bild und Betrachter: doch wer einmal im Bild etwas neues entdecken konnte, (wem sich etwas neues gezeigt hat) dessen Sehen ist bereichert.
Der Künstler geht an die Basis der Fotografie und hinterfragt ihre Fähigkeit, etwas vermeintlich genau abzubilden. Die klare Wiedergabe, auf die jeder einzelne Apparat - von der Kamera über den Projektor bis zum Vergrößerer - konstruiert ist, versucht er zu stören.
In the "Liquid Silver" series, Albrecht Noack explores the freedom of artistic photography. He liquefies motifs until the contours dissolve. Image errors arise in his photographic experiments, which he allows to apply equally above and next to the motif. It often requires patient observation so that significant parts of the picture can emerge from the supposedly abstract chaos.
With patience, there is a slowness between the picture and the viewer: but whoever has been able to discover something new in the picture (who has seen something new) his vision is enriched.
The artist goes to the basics of photography and questions its ability to depict something supposedly precisely. He tries to disturb the clear reproduction on which every single device - from the camera to the projector to the enlarger - is constructed.
